Digi Quick Start

1. Insert batteries. Make sure they’re in the right way. On this unit, it’s easy to put them in wrong. Be aware that if there are batteries in the unit, the display will be “ON.” There is no power switch.

2. Insert neck loop plug into the headphone jack. You will have to press the jack in FIRMLY to get it in all the way.

3. Press the “REC/PAUSE” button to begin recording. Press either “STOP” button to stop.

If you need to insert copy:

1. First, make sure the unit is in “CONTINUOUS” mode. To do this, press and hold the DISPLAY/MENU button until you see “MODE.” Press the + button until you see CONT on the display. Press PLAY/STOP. The display should flash, then press the + key until you see “ON” in the display. Press PLAY/STOP again. The ON should stop flashing. Press DISPLAY/MENU to return to the main screen.

2. Next, press play. When you come to the section of the copy that needs the addition, press DIVIDE. You’ve now split the copy. Press STOP, then press the – key to move to the first part of the copy.

3. Press PLAY. Press and hold REC/PAUSE. You will hear a beep. Begin speaking immediately. When done, press STOP. The unit should play the copy back seamlessly.
